Funding Success Stories
In November, the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) awarded $26.7 million to 14 Tribes through the America the Beautiful Challenge for ecological restoration and capacity building. While a positive step forward, the program awarded only 8% of requested dollars demonstrating the critical need for Tribal conservation funding. NAFWS and FNDI hosted 7 webinars attended by 62 Tribes. Technical Assistance will be offered again next year and webinars will be shared on social media accounts and the NFWF website after the RFP is announced.
